History

1. Our Origins

Founded in 2006, P&P Industries AG was built on a strong vision: to provide innovative solutions for a clean and energy-efficient future in the fields of waste gas cleaning systems, spent sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) regeneration, and precious metal catalysts. From the start, our mission has been clear: "Closing the Cycle – Offer processes for circular economy to drive sustainability and energy efficiency."

2. Building on Success

Since our founding, P&P Industries has achieved significant milestones that have driven our growth and success. In 2006, we opened our laboratory in Stocking, near Graz, and quickly established ourselves as experts in sulfur dioxide (SO₂) treatment. In 2010, we supplied our first Sulfur Oxidation Plant (SOP), revolutionizing the industry with our Platinum Catalyst technology.

By 2014, we expanded into China, continuing our tradition of excellence in the sulfuric acid industry. A joint venture with BOAO followed in 2016, allowing us to design and engineer 14 sulfuric acid plants in China by 2018. In 2020, we further advanced our Platinum Catalyst technology with a breakthrough wash coat formulation, and we’re excited to unveil our fully automated catalyst production facility in 2025.

3. Industry Expertise

With nearly two decades of experience, P&P has emerged as a leader in the regeneration of sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄), waste gas cleaning, and the placement of precious metal catalysts in several applications and different industries. Our team's unmatched expertise in process engineering, delivers significant solutions for cost savings in raw materials and waste disposal, particularly within the petrochemical, fertilizer, and metallurgical industries.

At P&P, our comprehensive product portfolio is designed not only to minimize the environmental impact of raw material usage but also to make materials reusable, thus closing the loop for sustainable industrial solutions.

4. Today and Tomorrow

Today, P&P is proud to bring "green" know-how from the heart of Austria to the world. Headquartered in Raaba, Austria, with operations in the Czech Republic, India, and additional global agents to be as close as possible to you, our team of 180 employees is dedicated to sustainability in process engineering and catalyst performance. As we continue to innovate, our focus remains on reducing emissions and minimizing environmental impacts.
